Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website or use our services. By using our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

  1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you interact with our website:

  • Contact Information: such as your name, email address, and any information you choose to include when submitting a contact form.
  • Newsletter Sign-Up: if you choose to subscribe to our email list, we will collect your email address to send you occasional updates.
  • Program Purchases: if you purchase a program through our secure client platform, we collect necessary information to process your order, such as your name and contact details.

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools on this website.

  1. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your inquiries.
  • Send you requested resources, updates, or newsletters.
  • Process program registrations or purchases through our secure client platform.
  • Communicate important information related to your care or our services.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

  1. How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us. Contact form submissions are transmitted securely, and client care information is handled through HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms (e.g., Practice Better).

Please note that no online method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  1. Your Choices
  • Newsletter: You may unsubscribe from our email list at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included in every email.

  1. Telehealth & Location

All services are provided exclusively via secure telehealth for residents of Florida. We do not offer in-person appointments or provide services to clients located outside of Florida.

  1. Links to Other Sites

Our website may include links to external sites—for example, educational resources mentioned in articles or links to Practice Better for program access. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies whenever you leave our website.

  1. HIPAA Privacy Rule

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services states:

“The HIPAA Privacy Rule establishes national standards to protect individuals’ medical records and other personal health information and applies to health plans, health care clearinghouses, and those health care providers that conduct certain health care transactions electronically. The Rule requires appropriate safeguards to protect the privacy of personal health information and sets limits and conditions on the uses and disclosures that may be made of such information without patient authorization. The Rule also gives patients certain rights over their health information, including rights to examine and obtain a copy of their health records and to request corrections.”

Our operation of this website does not constitute the practice of medicine and does not create a doctor–patient relationship between you and our Clinical Supervisor, Dr. Rodriguez. Any information provided on this website is for informational purposes only.

If you become a patient of Advance Health & Wellness Solutions (“AHWS”), the preservation and handling of your personal health information will be conducted in accordance with HIPAA regulations. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “patients” are individuals who have secured our services and completed all required new patient forms.

Patients of Dr. Rodriguez will receive a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs how AHWS collects, uses, and protects patient health information. This HIPAA Notice is provided separately and applies only to patients, not to general website visitors.

  1. Passwords for Patients to Access the Patient Portal

If you are a patient of AHWS, this Privacy Policy does not apply to your personal health information stored on our HIPAA-secure electronic medical record platform, Practice Better. A separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains how we collect, use, and protect patient health information, is provided to all new patients upon registration.

There is no direct link to the Patient Portal on this website. The Patient Portal is hosted on a separate, secure server and is not part of this website.

As a patient of AHWS, you will create a unique password to access your Patient Portal. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and your Patient Portal account, as well as for all activities (whether by you or others) that occur under your login credentials.

To protect your health information:

  • Do not share your password with anyone.
  • If you share your password with another person, they may be able to access your personal health information at your own risk.
  • AHWS cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to protect your password.
  1. Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed toward children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you are under 18, please do not provide any personal information through this website. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a minor, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

  1. Compliance with Laws

We comply with applicable U.S. federal and Florida state privacy laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) where applicable. If you access this website from outside the state of Florida, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

  1. No Medical Advice

The information provided on this website is for informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

  1. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information submitted through this website for as long as necessary to respond to inquiries, provide requested services, or comply with legal obligations.

If you would like us to delete information you have provided through the contact form or newsletter sign-up, please contact us at contact@skincarehealer.com, and we will process your request in accordance with applicable laws.
